The plain-language terms.

1. Who you're agreeing with

"ConfirmDev," "we," and "us" mean ConfirmDev — a small independent software studio. "Apps" means our software, including but not limited to Altimeter, Civics Master, the A320 Study App, and the Boeing 737 / CRJ / Cessna Caravan training apps when released. "You" means the person using the website or installing an app.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Apps for your personal, non-commercial use, on devices you own or control, subject to the rules of the App Store or Google Play.

You may not: reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Apps (except to the extent allowed by law); copy, redistribute, or resell the Apps or their content; remove proprietary notices; use the Apps to build a competing product; or use the Apps in a way that violates any law.

3. Accounts

Some features require a ConfirmDev account. You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You're responsible for activity on your account. One person per account; no sharing logins.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country (in the US, 13+ with parental consent or 18+ otherwise). Our Apps are intended for adults; see our Children's privacy note for details.

4. Subscriptions, purchases, and refunds

Some Apps offer subscriptions or one-time purchases through the App Store or Google Play. The store handles the transaction; we receive a receipt that unlocks paid features for your account.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the price shown at checkout, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal happens within 24 hours of the period end. Manage or cancel any subscription in your Apple ID account settings or your Google Play account.

Free trials. Where offered, any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you start a paid subscription, as required by Apple.

Refunds. Refund requests for App Store purchases go to reportaproblem.apple.com. Refund requests for Google Play purchases go to your Play Store account. We can't process refunds directly because we never receive your payment, but we'll happily help you with the request — email support@confirmdev.com.

Price changes. If we change a subscription price, you'll be notified before the next renewal and can cancel before the new price applies.

5. Acceptable use

When you use the Apps or website you agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
• Bypass authentication, rate limits, or other protections;
• Scrape, crawl, or extract bulk content;
• Upload malicious code, harassing content, or content you don't have rights to;
• Submit false logbook data intended to mislead a regulator, examiner, or insurer (Altimeter);
• Use the Apps to provide an answer key in a setting where doing so would violate a testing organization's rules.

6. Educational content disclaimer

The Apps are study tools. They're not legal, regulatory, professional, or aeronautical advice.

• Aviation apps (Altimeter, A320, 737, CRJ, Cessna Caravan): the content does not replace official manufacturer documentation, the Aircraft Flight Manual, FAA publications, your operator's procedures, your Standard Operating Procedures, or instruction from a qualified Certified Flight Instructor. Always defer to the AFM, current revisions, and your check airman. We make no representation that the Apps are sufficient preparation for any check, evaluation, or rating.
• Civics Master: questions are based on the USCIS 100-question civics test as published by US Citizenship and Immigration Services. We are not affiliated with USCIS. We can't guarantee any test outcome. The official source is uscis.gov.

7. Your content

You own the data you put into the Apps — logbook entries, custom decks, notes, study answers. You give us a limited license to host, sync, encrypt, and display that data so the App works for you, on your devices. We don't use it for anything else.

You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you submit. Don't upload other people's pilot logbooks, copyrighted study material you don't have rights to, or anything else that would land us in trouble.

8. Our content & intellectual property

The Apps, the website, our logos and trademarks, and the question banks/explanations we author are owned by ConfirmDev or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Aircraft type designations (Boeing 737, A320, CRJ-200/700/900, Cessna 208) are the trademarks of their respective owners; we use them only to describe the subject matter of our study content. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI RJ Aviation), Textron, or Cessna.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Apps at any time. Delete your account from in-app Settings or by emailing privacy@confirmdev.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, abuse the service, or use it in a way that puts other users or our infrastructure at risk. We'll try to give notice when we reasonably can. Sections 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APPS AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE FOR ANY PARTICULAR USE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DON'T ALLOW THIS DISCLAIMER, IN WHICH CASE IT APPLIES TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONFIRMDEV WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (b) US$50.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify ConfirmDev from any third-party claim arising out of (a) your misuse of the service, (b) your breach of these terms, or (c) content you submitted that infringes someone else's rights.

13. Changes to the service or terms

We may update the Apps, the website, or these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree, stop using the service and delete your account.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your home jurisdiction.

15. Apple App Store additional terms

If you obtained an App from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply, as required by Apple:

• This agreement is between you and ConfirmDev only — not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
• If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, who will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding the App.
• ConfirmDev — not Apple — is responsible for addressing any product or third-party claim, including product liability, legal-compliance, and consumer-protection claims.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US-government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting," and that you are not on any US-government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.

16. Google Play additional terms

If you obtained an App from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. ConfirmDev — not Google — is solely responsible for the App and its content. If you have questions or claims related to the App, contact us, not Google.

17. DMCA & copyright

If you believe content in our Apps infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice with the required information to legal@confirmdev.com. Repeated infringers will lose access.

18. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a corporate transaction. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and ConfirmDev concerning the service.
